Trip Breakdown

Me and my boyfriend Will are traveling to Costa Rica for 5 weeks through an organization called ISV. The trip breaks down into 3 parts:

Week 1: Living with a host family in Heredia, while we attend school at Intercultura and do various activities such as dancing lessons, cooking, and field trips.

Weeks 2 & 3: This portion of the trip is volunteer work. We will be working in a conservation area in the Southwest part of the country called Golfo Dulce. The area is one of the most bio-diverse places on the planet. We will be working with whales, dolphins, porpoises, and poison dart frogs. 

You can see the area in the Osa Peninsula near the Gulf of Dulce, this is the area we will be working.

Weeks 4 & 5: Now the fun begins! This portion is called the Adventure Tour. During this time we will be kayaking, zip lining, rappelling, rafting, hiking and much more. This is the time we will be traveling all over and really get to see the country.
